Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1/2 tbsp. dried cranberries
- 1 and 1/4 Art. water
- 1 tbsp. fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Unsalted butter
- 1 (230 gr.) Packet of a mixture of long-grain white and wild rice (recommended: Uncle Ben’s)
- Zest of one orange
- 1/2 tbsp. chopped almonds

Recipe preparation:
- Place the cranberries in a medium bowl and pour enough amount of hot water to cover the berries. Leave to soak while you make rice
- Pour 1 and 1/4 tbsp into a medium saucepan. water, orange juice and add butter, bring to a boil. Add rice together with the contents of the seasoning bag and bring to a boil again. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until until rice is soft, about 20-25 minutes.
- Drain the cranberries and add the berries to the rice along with orange zest and almonds. Mix gently while loosening fig. Transfer rice to a serving platter, cover and hold warm until served.
