Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • 3 stalks of celery, cut into slices
  • 120 gr. shiitake mushrooms, cut into slices
  • 1 tbsp. l curry powder
  • 4 tbsp. lightly salted chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp. coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp. l fish sauce
  • 120 gr. chopped green beans
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 450 gr frozen chinese dumplings with meat or dumplings
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 lime, cut into half rings
  • 4 feathers of green onions, cut diagonally into slices
  • Coarse salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan over high heat. Add celery, mushrooms and curry powder, fry, stirring, 1 – 2 minutes. Pour in chicken stock, coconut milk, fish sauce and 1 a glass of water, bring to a boil.
  2. Add green beans and sweet pepper to the soup, reduce temperature to medium and cook for about 3 minutes. Add dumplings and cook until tender, until the dumplings pop up, about 4 minutes. Add lime juice, salt and add over taste the fish sauce. Serve the soup with chopped lime, sprinkled green onions.
