Stuffed squid cheese, rice and mushrooms
Squid stuffed with black rice – my favorite “delicious” children. I discovered black rice recently. I read a lot that this healthy cereal. At first, my tomboys didn’t want to eat wild rice like garnish. But as soon as I stuffed squid with black rice, the dish became a favorite.
Squid stuffed with black rice
I offer a recipe for stuffed squid for children and adults. The ingredients are generally similar, but for the “adult table” I I suggest adding black rice to the squid and more pungency.
Ingredients
- Squids – 4 whole, not damaged carcasses
- Black rice – 80g. Keep in mind that this cereal is increasing when cooking in volume.
- Cheese (any) – 50g.
- Sour cream – 100ml.
- Paprika – a bit.
Not all kids like onion filling, so add this ingredient is optional. Mushrooms should not be given to children until 7-8 years old. Even harmless champignons. If only as an ingredient in gravy – for the smell.
For adults
Add the mushrooms, onions and some garlic. As a seasoning, you can use hot gravy or ready-made sauce.
Cooking method
Get wild rice first. This is a very pleasant process and not at all complicated. One smell shared by blacks drop-down pictures, can drive you crazy. It smells delicious “own” bread in a home oven.
Fill the grains with water (1: 3) and wait until it boils. Then close the lid and reduce the gas. Grain is cooked for about an hour. Try, the grains should become soft.
Mix the prepared wild rice with grated cheese and heat a little, so that the cheese “grabs” the grains. This may not be necessary, but the filling is better and tastier.
Cooking for adults? Instead of cheese, put the mushrooms fried in onions.
While the wild grain puffs, squandering the aroma, process carcasses squid. Pour boiling water over them. Squids will immediately turn white and clean. The boiling water film folds up and the carcasses are easy are being cleaned.
Stuff the squid with black rice. Holes can fix with a toothpick. But it’s not always convenient if you cook children’s dish. From squids you can make funny piglets. I have here is a whale fish. Thread a hole (not tight). This is enough so that black rice does not come out.
Place stuffed squids on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Do not overdo it. Otherwise, the meat will become tough. I set grilled squid.
Get sea monsters out of the oven and start fantasizing. Pig ears are usually made from the tail. My whale tail come in handy!
Make sour cream sauce with paprika. Pour the finished dish.
