Stuffed mushroom caps baked under grill

These miniature mushroom caps can be quickly collected and baked in oven in minutes. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, remove the legs
  • 1 tbsp. l plus 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 large clove of garlic, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp. l whole grain breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 medium tomato, cut into 4 slices approximately 1 thick cm.
  • 110 gr. fresh salted mozzarella cut into 4 slices

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place the wire rack on top of the oven 8 cm below heat source, which then turn on. Whisk in a small bowl of 1 tbsp. l olive oil with garlic. Grease the convex top of the mushroom caps with the resulting mixture and lay them out side with plates down on a baking sheet with sides.
  2. In a second small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with oregano and the remaining 1 tsp. olive oil. Leave in side.
  3. Bake mushrooms under a source of top heat until they are brown (about 2 minutes). Flip every hat sprinkle 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Bake under the top heating until soft (about 1 minute).
  4. Put a slice of tomato on top of each hat, sprinkle 1/8 tsp salt. Bake under top heat until tomatoes Do not soften or cook (approximately 2 minutes).
