  1. Decapitate herring and remove the tail with fins, cut along belly and pull out the insides. Carefully pull out the ridge. Delete bone remnants. Stuffed herring

  2. Cut off part of the fillet, leaving about half on the skin.

  3. Grind the cut fillet with a sharp knife. Mix it with diced boiled eggs and boiled carrots.

  4. Season the filling with mayonnaise and mix.

  5. Put the mixture on one half of the herring and cover second.

  6. Band the herring in a spiral and put in the refrigerator for couple of hours.

  7. Remove the thread and cut the fish into portions.
