In preparation, a whole flank steak is used – a cut from the abdominal parts of the carcass that is previously rubbed with a mixture of chili powder and sugar for a light spicy caramel crust. To this rather lean steak turned tender and juicy, fry it until low degree of roasting. Serve the creamy corn in the side dish, stew with onions and sweet peppers in concentrated milk. Everything the dish is prepared very quickly and is filled with rich balanced flavors from hot chili to soft creamy sauce. Sprinkle fresh green onions and enjoy. - 0.7 kg flank steak
- 2 tbsp. l olive oil
- 1 white onion, diced
- 2 cubanella or banana peppers (or 1 large green sweet pepper), peeled and diced
- 2 tbsp. frozen corn
- 1 can 140 gr. sugar-free condensed milk (approximately 2/3 Art.)
- 3 feathers of thin onion, thinly chopped
- Lime wedges for serving

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven in grill mode. Mix in a small bowl chili powder, sugar and 1 tsp. salt and black pepper. Lubricate the whole steak surface 1 tbsp. l olive oil, then grate on both sides with a mixture of spices. Place on a baking sheet; let the meat breathe 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium-sized saucepan on a moderately strong heat the remaining 1 tbsp. l olive oil. Add the onion and bell peppers and fry, stirring until onion translucent, about 4 minutes. Add frozen corn and stir fry for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate and add sugar-free condensed milk. Cook until the mixture is thick and creamy, about 7 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Grill the steak in the oven for 3-4 minutes each sides for medium frying. Lay on a cutting board and allow the meat to rest for 5-10 minutes, then cut against the fibers. Serve the steak with creamy corn, sprinkled with green onions and garnishing with lime slices.
