Spicy potato soup with dumplings

Inexpensive and quick version of a delicious soup that you can cook at home with dumplings. The dumpling dough is made with bacon and onions.

  1. Slice the lard and fry it on a tablespoon vegetable oil.
  2. Chopped onion in a small dice should be darkened in fat until caramel color.
  3. Peel potatoes, cut into slices and pour water. Cook until cooked for 20 minutes.
  4. Divide the fried onions with bacon. In one half pour grated carrots, hot peppers and granulated garlic, mix everything, fry for 5 minutes and put on the potatoes. Cook 10 minutes.
  5. Pour flour into the second half 150 gr. and 80-100 ml. water. Knead the dough and salt it.
  6. Scoop the dough with a teaspoon and spread it in boiling soup. Cook for 5-7 minutes
  7. Pour green peas 5 minutes before the end of cooking. When serving sprinkle with dill.
