Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 chicken thighs without skin and bones (approximately 450 gr.)

  • 1/3 Art. freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 2-3 limes)
  • 3 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 2 tbsp. l fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Sambal olek or other hot chili paste
  • 1 minced clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 finely grated small carrots
  • Leaves 1 head of Boston Lettuce (or Bibb)
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro
  • 1 thinly chopped Kirby cucumber
  • 4 sliced 2.5 cm. Stalks of green onions (white and green parts)
  • 8 skewers (if wooden, soak in water for 15 min.)

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, mix water, lime juice, sugar, fish sauce and mix until sugar dissolves. Add sambal olek and garlic. Cut chicken thighs into 5 cm cubes.
