- In a pan of 4 liters, pour a whole piece of cold water meat, put on fire and cook over moderate heat and a half hours. Then take out the meat, cut into small pieces and return back to the broth.

- Next, add sauerkraut, cook ten more together minutes.
- Stewed vegetables also put in a bouillon. Next add parsley or parsnip root, pepper, bay leaf. Cook about 15 minutes over low heat. Salt if necessary.
- Served cabbage soup with chopped herbs.
