These fruit cakes are made from apple dough pirogue. But they have several advantages over large pies: they bake faster, their filling does not need to be pre-cooked, such pies can always be taken with you, for example, on a picnic. But to taste they are as beautiful as large pies. Take fresh raspberries for the filling, add a little grated apple to thicken, and cinnamon for flavor. Lay out wrap the filling on the circles cut from the dough for the pie, and bake. Give the finished cakes a more sophisticated look by sprinkling их сахарной with icing.   • 2 tbsp. l cold water
  • 1 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice

Apple Raspberry Filling

  • 2 tbsp. fresh raspberries
  • Half a medium apple, peeled and grated on a large grater
  • 1/4 Art. Sahara
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten with 2 tbsp. l water, for lubrication
  • Sugar Demerara, to sprinkle

Glaze

  • 1 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp. l milk or water
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe preparation:

  1. Combine flour, sugar and salt together. Add vegetable oil and mix with a dough knife, or a stationary mixer with with a spatula until the flour turns into a uniform baby
  2. Add the butter and mix it with a knife until you get coarse friable mass with small pieces of butter. Separately mix water and vinegar (or lemon juice) and add immediately into the flour mixture, stirring, until the dough begins to converge. Form from the test 2 discs, wrap and put in the refrigerator at least 1 hour to harden.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C and cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Slice chilled dough into 6 pieces and roll out each piece in a circle with a diameter of about 15 cm and a thickness of a little less than 0.5 cm. using a die cut for cookies with a diameter of 15 cm. cut from circles rough edges.
  5. Mix raspberries, apple, sugar and cinnamon with a fork, lightly crushing berries.
