Prepare at home cabbage sauerkraut, make it with mushrooms. A dish with historical roots. Such cabbage soup was cooked in Russia during fasting and not only. - Chop onions and carrots into small cubes and fry in two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Rinse dried mushrooms with water and soak for 2 hours. Then boil them over medium heat for 40 minutes. Strain the broth, bring the volume to three liters, finely chop the mushrooms.
- Finely chopped sauerkraut and stew in a saucepan with a thick upside down. Simmer for about half an hour with a tablespoon. butter and tomato paste.
- Add medium diced potatoes to the cabbage. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Combine the cabbage with mushrooms and broth. Allow to boil, reduce fire until small and continue cooking for about 40 minutes.
- Fry flour in a dry frying pan and dilute gradually until liquid state mushroom broth. Pour the mass into the pan.
- Also put in the pan fried carrots with onions, laurel sheet. Season with salt if required. Cook minutes 10-15.
- Serve garnished with finely chopped herbs. Optionally add sour cream.
