Ingredients for the recipe:
- 350 gr salted cod, preferably fillet
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. fat cream
- 2 medium potato tubers, peel, and cut in half
- 2/3 Art. olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, cut into thin slices
- 2 small branches of thyme
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tbsp. l fresh lemon juice
- Freshly ground pepper
- Crackers or toasts for serving

Recipe preparation:
- Pour cod with cold water and refrigerate for 24 hours, changing water 4 times.
- Drain the water. Put the cod in the pan, pour cold water and bring to a boil; drain, then repeat with fresh water. Again drain the water, then add milk and cream. Bring to a boil and cook at low boil until the meat begins to fall apart, about 15 minutes Leave 1/2 tbsp. milk mixture, the rest drain the liquid. Divide the fillet into fibers.
- Place the potatoes in a pan and pour cold water. To bring to a boil and cook at medium temperature until soft, about 20 min; drain the water. Cool a little, then crush it. Meanwhile, mix olive oil in a saucepan, garlic, thyme and cloves; cook at low temperature, 5 minutes. Strain the spiced oil through a sieve and let stand.
- Put cod, half spiced oil in the food processor, the remaining milk mixture, lemon juice and 1/2 tbsp. hot water; grind until smooth. Add potatoes and season the remaining spiced oil, season with pepper and mix. Shift in a bowl and pour olive oil. Serve Cod Dip Sauce warm with crackers.
