Salad with pasta, ham and sweet pepper

A simple and quick recipe for a delicious pasta salad. Boiled horns are complemented by chopped ham, sweet pepper and red onions, and seasoned with delicate creamy mayonnaise sauce, sour cream, parsley and chives with a little lemon juice. So that your salad does not turn into porridge, boiled pasta well washed under a stream of cold water and only then mixed with the rest of the ingredients. Serve immediately as main course appetizer or garnish. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 220 gr pasta horns
  • 1/3 Art. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Art. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 tbsp. l sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. l finely chopped chives
  • 1.5 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. diced ham
  • 1/4 Art. chopped red onion
  • 2 sweet peppers, preferably 1 red and 1 yellow, chopped

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large pan, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, parsley, sour cream, chives, lemon juice, 0.5 tsp salt and a little black pepper.
  3. Pour pasta into boiling water and cook according to recommendation on the packaging. Drain and rinse the paste under cold water to keep it cool; transfer to a bowl with refueling.
  4. Add ham, onion and sweet pepper to the pasta and mix. Salt and pepper to taste. Pasta salad best served immediately.
