Salad with green and white beans

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 can (425 gr.) White beans, strain and rinse
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped cubes
  • 1/4 Art. cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp Sahara
  • 1/4 Art. olive oil
  • 350 gr green and / or wax beans, trim and cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. l finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp. l finely chopped chives

Recipe preparation:

  1. Dice the onion in the water for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large salad bowl with a whisk, mix vinegar, sugar and 0.5 tsp. salt, then stir in olive oil. Drain the onion, dry and add to the dressing. Stir in white beans there.
  3. Bring a pot of salt water to a boil. Fill the green and / or bean wax and cook for 4-5 minutes. before crisp-tender state. Drain and place in ice water, to stop cooking. Drain the water again, dry the beans and add to the salad. Marinate at room temperature for about 1 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Before serving, add parsley and chives to the salad and season with salt and pepper.
