Lovely vegetable autumn soup with turnips – very thick and tasty, but at the same time low-calorie. Usually cooked at home on chicken or turkey broth. For the lean menu, you can exclude meat for broth and just use vegetable oil.

  1. We prepare vegetables, wash them and clean them. Rustic Turnip Soup
  2. Dice potatoes, turnips and carrots. We fall asleep vegetables in pre-cooked broth, bring to a boil and cook for half an hour. Rustic Turnip Soup
  3. Take canned white beans, cut greens and onions. We also put them in a saucepan and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. We part the flour with cold water (4 tbsp) in a separate container and add the mixture to the thickening soup.
  5. Salt or pepper to taste. You can give a rich taste adding a couple of spoons of tomato paste.
