  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Grate carrots on a large grater.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, add butter and fry the garlic for 30 seconds. Add onion, curry powder and mix. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Then add the carrots, stirring, frying for 3 minutes. Then to add rice to vegetables, mix well.
  4. Pour boiling water over everything, add salt and pepper. When the water boils cover the pan. Cook for 20 minutes without stirring, with tightly closed lid.
  5. Turn off the fire when ready. Leave the pan closed on 15 minutes.
  6. Then open the lid and mix rice carefully. To sprinkle chopped herbs.
