Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 1/4 Art. olive oil, plus 1 tbsp. l
- 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. l Sahara
- 6 peas of black pepper
- 4 sprigs of fresh thyme, plus 2 tbsp. l chopped for decoration

Recipe preparation:
- Sauté the onion until soft on low heat with 1 tbsp. l olive oil. Pour vinegar into a large pot, 1/4 tbsp. olive oil, add sugar, pepper and thyme and bring to boiling. Add the onions to the hot liquid and simmer for 5 мин.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the onion stand for 2 hours or leave for the night. When ready to serve, drain and top off sprinkle with thyme.
