Pumpkin and carrot soup with poppy seeds

For the pumpkin season, I propose to cook at home original recipe for mashed soup – pumpkin-carrot-poppy seeds. Like all pumpkin soups, this one is also made with spices. One of them is nutmeg is, in my opinion, the best spice you can pair up with this orange vegetable. It is not only delicious! Of useful properties of nutmeg – relieving fatigue and stress, metabolic acceleration, just what you need for diet soup in the autumn and winter.

  1. Cut vegetables into small cubes: pumpkin, carrots.
  2. Black pepper and coriander seeds are ground with a pestle until powder.
  3. Put the oil in a pan along with coriander, pepper, turmeric and a leaf of laurel. Melt the butter while frying the spices. We spread the cubes of carrots and pumpkins to them. Cooking, stirring, about a third of an hour.
  4. Cut the potatoes, pour boiling water, pour the washed to it poppy and boil for 15 minutes.
  5. We spread pumpkin with carrots in a saucepan, salt to taste. Cook another 10 minutes on a barely noticeable fire.
  6. Pour shredded greens at will, turn off the fire. Rub the nutmeg, add to the soup and cover with a lid for 10 minutes. Enjoy your meal.
