Ingredients for the recipe:

For salad:

  • 7 medium peeled potato tubers, cut into four parts
  • 1 sweet potato sweet potato, peel and chop coarsely
  • 1/4 Art. mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. l Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper

For salad dressing:

  • 1 slice of bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/4 Art. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. l red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 green onion feathers, cut into rings
  • 2 tbsp. l chopped fresh parsley
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat grill to medium temperature. Put potatoes in a large saucepan and pour 5 cm in cold water. Bring to boil and cook for 10 min., add sweet potatoes. Bring to a boil again and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Drain water and leave the potatoes to cool.
  2. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, onion powder, garlic in a bowl powder, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper to taste. When the potatoes will cool, mix with the resulting mixture.
  3. Prepare salad dressing: fry bacon in pan at medium temperature until crisp, then cool a little. Transfer chilled bacon with melted bacon fat in a large bowl. Add olive oil, vinegar, mustard and beat with a whisk until the state of the emulsion. Add green onions, parsley, salt and black pepper to taste, mix again.
  4. Put the potatoes on a hot grill and fry, turning, 1 – 2 min. from each side. Put potatoes in a bowl with salad dressing and mix. Serve Potato Grill Salad warm or chilled.
