The success of a person depends on his appearance. It doesn’t taste like will affect, but still you need to try to choose the most even and smooth oval potatoes, then the presentation of the dish is nothing will be different from the gourmet gourmet cuisine.

The main advantage of potato boats is that their can be served as a hot snack or as a main course, complemented by almost any salad, whether it is clear or vegetable, cold or hot.

The main ingredients:

  • potatoes – 5 pcs.;
  • butter – 1 tablespoon;
  • cream – 3 tablespoons;
  • Parmesan – to taste;
  • bacon – 100 g;
  • salt, ground pepper, chives – to taste.

Cooking method

Wash the potatoes well and boil them in their skins (in salted water) until fully prepared. We wait until it cools down and cut into two halves across. With a teaspoon, carefully select the middle, leaving quite thick sides (about 5 mm). Knead the selected potatoes in a bowl with cream butter, cream and grated parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste and check the consistency of the mass. It should be a thick puree.

Cut the existing bacon into slices, peel off the thick skin and fry in a pan on both sides. 10 slices of bacon leave to decorate potatoes, and cut the rest in small cubes and add to the potato mass.

We start our potato boats with parmesan, decorate pieces of bacon (like a sail) and send to the oven for about 10 minutes. Before serving, decorate with chopped green onions.

Tasty options: as decoration you can use any available greens, be it dill or parsley. If outside the window fertile season, then you can add a semicircle to the sail tomato or cucumber. As for cheese, here are also allowed experiments, i.e. you can use any already proven variety cheese.

If the boats will be served as the main course, then such boats need to be done a lot or based on the number of guests in calculating 2 boats for each.
