Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 700 gr. sliced 5 cm. striped perch without skin
  • 1 thinly sliced small green bell pepper
  • 1 can (410 gr.) Diced tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1 onion chopped into thin rings
  • 1 chopped clove of garlic
  • 1/4 Art. chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 4 slices of fried crispy bread

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat, preheat 2 tbsp. l olive oil. Add bay leaves and paprika and cook, stirring, 30 sec. Put onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, garlic and 2 tbsp. l cilantro, salt and pepper. Cover and cook until soft vegetables, about 10 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup of water and reduce heat to moderately low. Salt and pepper the fish, then put the pieces in a pan between vegetables. Cover and simmer until the fish is ready, 5-7 minutes. plate stew. Pour the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tbsp. l cilantro. Serve with with bread.
