Pork stew with wild mushrooms

We cook delicious stews at home from pork neck, mushrooms, carrots and onions. Forest mushrooms add a special flavor to the dish. You can make stew with fresh and frozen ones, and even dried mushrooms.

  1. We wash the pork neck and cut it into small pieces, peeled onions with carrots – cubes. Fry in oil in a stewpan onion, send chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute.

  2. Add prepared pieces of the neck to the onion with garlic (you can take any part), cover and fry over medium heat until the liquid will not evaporate and the pieces will not lightly brown. Spread cubes of carrots, fry for 5 minutes, stirring, and add chopped forest mushrooms, tomato paste.

  3. Pour in water to completely cover the contents, season salt, ground pepper (can be replaced with peas), cover and simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.

  4. Remove the fragrant stew with forest mushrooms from the heat and immediately served with mashed potatoes and a light vegetable salad.
