Pork steaks with mushroom risotto: video recipe

A common rice dish in Northern Italy. First written mention of it was found only in the 19th century. For risotto uses round starch-rich rice of Arborio varieties, Baldo, Padano, Roma, Vialone Nano, Maratelli or Carnaroli. Properly cooked home risotto has a creamy structure and rich aroma. Steak with mushroom risotto is very tasty!

  1. Wash and chop vegetables and mushrooms.
  2. In a saucepan, heated over medium heat, pour oil and fry the garlic for 10-15 seconds. Add onions and mushrooms, continue fry for another 4 minutes, stirring. Add rice, warm 1-2 more minutes. Pour 300ml of water, salt, bring to a boil and cook, stirring for 15-18 minutes.
  3. In cream, add cream, another 100 ml of water, herbs to taste, cook stirring for another 5 minutes.
  4. Cut the pork into two steaks.
  5. Pour oil over a frying pan over high heat. warm it and fry the steak on both sides for 2 minutes with each. Then reduce and heat to medium and cook, periodically turning over, 8 minutes. 2 minutes before readiness add pepper to rose, thyme and wine, evaporate for 2 minutes. Salt the pepper to taste.
