  1. In 50 ml. thoroughly grind boiling water to uniformity 1 tbsp. l flour, cool and mix with the egg.
  2. Pour the rest of the flour and knead the dough with a thick consistency sour cream.
  3. Scoop the dough for dumplings with a spoon and dip in boiling water.
  4. Cook until dumplings float to the surface.
  5. Drain water from them, throwing it in a colander.
  6. Chop the duck into pieces, pour cold water and boil 1 hour with bay leaf and peppercorns.
  7. Chop cabbage.
  8. Peel and dice potatoes.
  9. Dip the potatoes into the broth first.
  10. After 10 minutes add the cabbage. To salt. Cook 10 minutes.
  11. Grate parsley and carrots on a medium grater.
  12. Cut the onion into a small dice.
  13. Fry vegetables in vegetable oil until soft.
  14. Add to them grated on a coarse grater beets. Fry for 7-10 minutes.
  15. Grate the tomatoes and put in the fried vegetables. Stew 5 minutes. Season the roast with vinegar and grated garlic.
  16. Put the fried vegetables in the soup. Simmer 10 minutes.
  17. 5-7 minutes before ready to put dumplings in borsch.
