  3. On the slices of herring, lay out the pickles (2 pcs.), pickled peppers, onions and mushrooms. Turn into rolls and fasten with toothpicks.

  4. Immerse the prepared herring rolls with vegetables and mushrooms into the cooled brine, cover and cool for 12 hours. During this time excess salt from the herring will go away and it will become pungent.

  5. Take the pickled herring rolls after 12 hours pickle, spread on a plate, decorate with salted vegetables and serve on the holiday table.
