Perfect Chilli Perfect Flavor

  • 900 gr. ground beef
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 can (230 gr.) Of tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 Art. cornmeal
  • 1 can (450 gr.) Of red beans (drain and Rinse)
  • 1 can (450 gr.) Pinto beans (drain and rinse)
  • Grated cheddar cheese, for serving
  • Chopped onion, for serving
  • Corn tortillas, for serving
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put the ground beef in a large pot and add the garlic. Sauté over medium heat. Drain excess fat, then add tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and cayenne pepper. Mix well, cover and reduce heat to weak. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes too dry, add 1/2 tbsp. water.
  2. After an hour, put the cornmeal in a small bowl. Add 1/2 tbsp. water and mix well with a fork. Pour this mixture into chili. Mix well, try and add spices if necessary. Add more dough to get the dish of the desired consistency / or water, you can just add cornmeal. Put the beans and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve chili with grated cheese, chopped onions, corn tortillas and lime slices.
