Difficulty: Easy The recipes use measured containers with a volume of: 1 glass (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cups (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp. l.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 slice of bacon, cut into slices
- 1/2 small onion, finely chop
- 1.5 tbsp. basmati rice
- 1 tbsp. chicken broth
- 1 1/4 Art. water
- Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers
- 1/3 Art. chopped roasted pecans

Recipe preparation:
- Fry the bacon in a pan with a small amount vegetable oil, until crisp. Add onion and fry until softening. Add basmati rice and fry for 2 minutes. Pour in chicken stock, water, salt and pepper to taste. To bring boil and cook with the lid on for 15 minutes. Turn off the stove add pecans and leave rice to steam for 10 minutes. Before serving, loosen the rice with a fork.
