  1. Rinse pearl barley soaked overnight with water.
  2. Peel the potatoes, cut into arbitrary pieces and pour boiling water.
  3. Bring to a boil and remove the foam. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Put pearl barley to the potato. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add bay leaf and pepper to the water. Salt to taste.
  6. Peel the roots, grate.
