  1. The first step is to rinse the peas well. Put it in cast iron, pour the broth and cook for about 45 minutes. Instead of broth you can use plain water.

  2. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a skillet. Remove the greaves from the pan.

  3. Cut the onion into rings and fry it in the fat, which formed after frying bacon. The bow should turn golden.

  4. Stir the onions with the fried bacon and add them to the peas.
