  • 6 slices of bacon, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp. cherry tomatoes
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 Art. grated parmesan, plus more for decoration
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon peel
  • 1 tbsp. chopped basil

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the salt water to a boil. Add paste and cook as indicated on the label. Leave 1 and 1/4 tbsp. water For further preparation, drain the remaining liquid.
  2. Sauté the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and shallots and fry until the tomatoes begin to burst, about 5 minutes. Drain the melted fat from the pan, leaving only 2 tbsp. l at in the pan.
  3. Mix eggs, cheese, lemon zest and 1 tsp. pepper in medium a bowl. Beat slowly with 1 tbsp. water left.Reduce fire to middle level. Add the pasta and mix well. Slow pour in the egg mixture, stir to make a creamy sauce, about 1 min .; season with salt.
  4. Add the remaining 1/4 tbsp. water from pasta, if necessary to reduce the density. Stir with basil. Sprinkle on top each serving of cheese and pepper to taste.
