Paella with chicken and smoked sausages

In a strict Spanish recipe, rice is first fried and carrots in Paella is not added. But we, including our creative approach, will bring some variations in cooking at home and get fresh notes in classic treat. For spices, instead of saffron, take turmeric. Paella with chicken and smoked sausages is very tasty and appetizingly!

  1. We wash the rice groats and soak in water.
  2. Wash my chicken fillet, dry and cut into medium slices.
  3. Peel and cut onions into small cubes, pass into vegetable oil in a pan.
  4. We clean carrots and bell peppers. Grind parsley branches, carrots – into small squares, pepper – into strips.
  5. Add carrots and sweet peppers to the onion in the pan. To the center put a whole head of garlic. Pour chopped herbs and chicken pieces. Cooking 8 minutes.
  6. Add the tomato through a grater.
  7. We fall asleep rice, frozen peas and canned corn. Salt, pepper.
  8. We cut smoked sausages and also put in a pan.
  9. In chicken broth, dissolve turmeric and pour in the contents pans. On low heat we simmer for 20 minutes under a closed lid.
  10. Turn off the fire, cover with a lid through a towel and give paella infuse for another 15-20 minutes.
