Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
- Trim the onion from the ends and remove the outer layer. Chop the onion slices of 1.2 cm. and disassemble into rings.
- In a blender or food processor, grind bran to consistency of breadcrumbs. Season and sprinkle on a plate or in a bowl.
- Fill a small bowl with egg substitute. Harvest a baking sheet (or 2) by spraying it with a non-stick spray.

Use a fork or tongs to in order to dip the rings in the egg replacer and bran. So you do not stain your fingers in breading. Do not pierce the rings with a fork; simply pick them up.
