Old Ukrainian borsch with bacon and garlic

National Ukrainian pride is borsch, and borsch with bacon – double pride. Cook at home for lunch borsch in the old Ukrainian style with pasta from lard with garlic. Tasty and very hearty soup!

  1. Boil the ribs until cooked with seasonings and laurel by sheet.
  2. We cut root vegetables: onions, carrots, beets. Passing in oil onions with carrots and spread the beets to them, fry for 5 minutes, add tomato paste, soup ladle, lemon juice. Mix and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. We take out the ribs and remove the meat from them. Cut into pieces.
  4. We put potatoes in the soup, after boiling – cabbage. After 10 minutes salt and return the meat along with vegetable overheat. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Put the lard, scrolled with garlic, into the soup and mix. Not cover the soup with a lid until it cools completely. Season the soup with herbs and sour cream and serve.
