Oatmeal with pumpkin on the water

Oatmeal with pumpkin and pumpkin seeds.

Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorite American desserts – is closely associated with the very beautiful time of the year when Thanksgiving is celebrated. This holiday no matter what race or religion do people, family, and friends get together, to remember how grateful they are to each other. Oatmeal with pumpkin – what could be better to start the holiday?

Share with friends: Photo Oatmeal with pumpkin on the water Time: 35 minutes Difficulty: Easy Servings: 4 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. oatmeal
  • 400 gr. pumpkin puree
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk or water
  • 2 tbsp. l raisins
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp seasonings for pumpkin pie or 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground cardamom, 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 Art. pumpkin seed
  • Honey or maple sugar for serving
  • Whipped cream

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large saucepan at high temperature, mix mashed potatoes from pumpkins, water, almond milk, raisins, salt and seasoning. Bring to boil. Add oatmeal. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir frequently.
  2. In a small cast-iron skillet over medium heat, fry pumpkin seeds until they are fragrant and golden brown, about 10 min. As soon as oatmeal to cook, serve it with honey or maple sugar, seeds pumpkin and whipped cream. You can cook the casserole from oatmeal with pumpkin.
