Mulled wine

Recipes used. volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 wide stripes of orange peel
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 bottle of dry red wine
  • 1/2 tsp whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp whole peppercorns
  • 3 fruits anise star
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 bay leaf

Recipe preparation:

  1. Stir the zest of orange with sugar and let it brew for 1 hour. Pour red wine into the pan, add cloves, peppercorns, star anise, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, zest mixture with sugar, put on a stove and heat at medium temperature, about 15 minutes (do not bring to a boil). Remove pan from plate and cover, let mulled wine infuse for 40 – 50 minutes
  2. Pour mulled wine into glasses of thick glass, leaving spices and zest in the pan. Garnish with cinnamon sticks. Serve Mulled Wine hot.
