2 Milk Jelly with Vanilla

Vanilla milk jelly is a very tasty drink that with ease can be cooked at home, it will warm you cold, winter in the evenings. It is also delicious when chilled, obtained as dessert. If you want to make not a jelly, but a thicker dessert – jelly, you can add more starch, increase the amount to 2 tablespoons.

  1. Cut the vanilla pod in half, extract the black small ones seeds.
  2. Put the starch in a bowl, pour the milk in a thin stream (half a glass), gently stir with a teaspoon.
  3. Pour the remaining milk into the stewpan, spread the pod and vanilla seeds, bring to a boil, reduce heat, remove pod. Pour milk with starch in a thin stream.
  4. Add honey or sugar. Cook, stirring with a whisk, about two to three minutes.
  5. Cool the finished drink for about half an hour, pour it into circles and serve. Sprinkle with dark chocolate or cocoa.
