Mashed potatoes with garlic and green onions

Garlic is one of the most popular and mouth-watering flavors for mashed potatoes. But so that his taste and aroma do not scare away his sharpness, it’s better to add it to potatoes not fresh, but in in the form of creamy infusion. Heat the cream with butter, putting chopped cloves of garlic and thyme in them for more interesting spicy aroma. The longer the cream is infused garlic, the more intense the taste. Season with flavored cream puree, sprinkle with fresh chives and serve. Recipe preparation:

  1. Put chopped potatoes in a large pot, pour cold water and add a large pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and simmer until the potatoes are soft, about 20-30 minutes. Drain well.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the cream, creamy oil, garlic and thyme. While the potatoes are still warm, squeeze it through a mashed press or rub through a mashed sieve into a bowl. Intervene a little warm cream, filtering them through a sieve, until mashed potatoes will not become magnificent. Salt, pepper and gently stir in the onion. Serve with a spicy chicken leg.
