Difficulty: easy Servings: 2 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 350 gr small yellow potato tubers
- Coarse salt
- 1.5 tbsp. l (75 gr.) Unsalted butter
- 1/4 Art. 10% drinking cream
- 60 gr cream cheese at room temperature
- Coarsely ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:
- Put the potatoes in a medium pan, fill with cold water and generously salt. Cover and bring to a boil on a strong the fire. Cook for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are free pierce with a fork. Drain, leaving 1/4 tbsp. Put the potatoes back and dry in a hot pan for about 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small pan, melt the butter on low heat. Add cream.
- Add hot cream with melted butter to the potatoes. Then add cream cheese and season with salt and black pepper. Crush potatoes with a pestle or large fork. If mashed will turn out too thick, add some left water, not more than 1 tbsp. l at once. Try and add more salt and pepper, if needed. Serve mashed potatoes to the table warm with spanish fried beef steak.
