Mashed potatoes with cheese – a detailed recipe cooking. Photo of the dish: Дэвид МэлошTime: 35 minutes Difficulty: easy Servings: 6 – 8 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1.2 kg potatoes with white or yellow peel, peel peel and cut into four parts
- 1 tbsp. grated gouda cheese, smoked or plain
- 120 gr. butter
- 3/4 Art. (10% fat) nonfat cream
- 1/4 Art. chopped chives
- Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers

Recipe preparation:
- Put the potatoes in a pan, pour cold water, only cover the potatoes and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce temperature and cook, until soft, 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in hot cream.
- Once the potatoes are cooked, drain the water and put pan with potatoes back on the stove turned off, dry in within 1 minute. Crush potatoes until smooth and mix hot cream with butter. Add to mashed potato cheese, chives and mix to melt the cheese, add salt and pepper to taste. Serve mashed potatoes hot.
