  1. Peel the beets, carrots, wash, boil, cool, chop in small cubes.
  2. Cut an apple (if desired, peel) into cubes.
  3. Grind walnut kernels (for example, in a chopper). Lenten Salad
  4. Finely chop the greens.
  5. Separately in a bowl combine all the ingredients, gently mix.
  6. Serve in a salad bowl, garnished with walnut kernels and slices apples.
