Lenten Musaka

For a modern person, as never before is relevant a question regarding proper nutrition. More and more often we find ourselves before choosing how to eat, in order to feel good, and keep a great figure?

Many, striving to look attractive, cross borders reasonable, resorting to fast and harmful diets. However, this is not not only hard morally, but also harmful to the body. Effective folk remedies for weight loss, lean diet, getting rid of bad habits and physical activity – these are the basic principles of healthy work of our organism.

The principle of cooking lean dishes is quite simple, and they can be prepared from products that can be found in any supermarket, even in cold winters.

We offer a recipe for one simple, but at the same time, very tasty dishes.

Lenten Musaka

Musaka is an eggplant casserole that has plenty interpretations. Yes, often Balkan dishes are added to this meat, but in our case, this is a lean version of Musaki.

To prepare 1 serving, you must:

– 1 eggplant;

– 1 large onion;

– 100 grams of mushrooms, champignons,

– half of the medium-sized zucchini is enough;

– 4 tomatoes;

– 275 grams of soy milk;

– 1 clove of garlic (this product is used to taste);

– 80 grams of walnuts;

– 30 grams of wholemeal flour;

– tomato puree;

– bread crumbs;

– herbs (also depending on preferences);

-5 tablespoons of vegetable oil;

– salt pepper;

– greenery.

For cooking eggplant and zucchini, cut into plates. On in a pan, we heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil and on it fry vegetables. In order for them to absorb excess fat, after frying spread them on paper napkins.

Diced onions are also fried on pan for 5 minutes. For frying onions used 1 a tablespoon of oil. They go there if they decide use garlic and sliced ​​mushrooms. All this stewed, also about 5 minutes.

In the resulting mass add a mixture of herbs, diced Tomatoes and tomato puree to taste. Cook the whole mixture on a slow fire until a sauce consistency is obtained. Next, chiseled nuts, salt, pepper, again, according to your taste preferences.

The remaining sunflower oil is mixed with soy milk and flour. The mixture should be homogeneous, and for this, on Slowly whisk it with a blender.

Next, take a baking dish, grease with oil and around the edge lay out eggplant and zucchini. From above the mass is poured nut-tomato mass, top with white sauce (soy milk, butter, flour), and again, a nut-tomato mass.

Next, the future Musaka goes to the oven for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Garnished with greens and nuts.
