Japanese udon noodles with turkey and cashew

This is a traditional Japanese dish. Thick wheat noodles in Japan is served very often. Prepare delicious noodles at home with various fillers or broth. In this recipe we will use turkey breast and cashew nuts.

  1. Boil the noodles following the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging. Drain the water.
  2. Cut the turkey breast in half and grease with soy sauce. To give stand for 5 minutes. Pour a little cold water, give to boil. Next, cook for 20 minutes over low heat until cooked. Remove the poultry meat, allow to cool. Cut into small pieces.
  3. Heat the pan without adding oil. Put in a pan nuts, add chili pepper (powder) and a pinch of sea salt. Fry 5 minutes nuts until golden brown.
  4. Chop green onions finely.
  5. Crush the garlic with a knife and chop finely.
  6. Grate the ginger root on a fine grater.
  7. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  8. Take a wok or deep pan with thick walls. On heat sesame oil over high heat. Put chopped onion and garlic. Fry for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour 2 canteens tablespoons of soy sauce and juice of 1 lemon. Add ginger and honey. Cook, stirring for another 1 minute.
  9. Add boiled noodles to the wok. Mix well.
  10. Arrange noodles on plates. Put turkey slices on top and roasted nuts. Drizzle with wok sauce.
