Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly cut into half rings
  • 3 cloves of garlic, cut into slices
  • Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers
  • 500-600 gr. beef fillet from the top of the hip cut
  • 1/2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1.5 tbsp. pickled jardinier vegetables (such as colored cabbage, onions, celery, zucchini, carrots), 3 tbsp. l can brine
  • 4 ciabatta breads cut in half along
  • 120 gr. thin provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • Hot sauce, served (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook vegetables: heat 2 tablespoons in a pan olive oil at medium high temperature. Add onion and stir fry for about 3 minutes. Add garlic and fry until soft, about 3 minutes more. Season salt and pepper, transfer the onion and garlic into a large bowl and give stand.
  2. Cook steaks: chop meat into portions 0.5 cm thick, cover with foil and slightly recapture. Heat in pan 2 tablespoons olive oil with medium high temperature. Put steaks in pieces and fry on each side, about 1 minute, salt and pepper. Shift cooked steaks in a bowl with onions, add parsley, pickled mix vegetables and brine.
  3. Collect sandwiches: sprinkle the sliced ciabatta bread olive oil. Put the steak on the bottom of the bread, then the onion and pickled vegetables, put provolone cheese. Cover with top honor ciabatta bread and serve sandwiches with hot sauce.
