Hungarians are justifiably proud of their soup – scorching, aromatic, thick, meaty, with slices of bell pepper and potatoes. To fully enjoy the incredibly delicious soup, I suggest cook it at home in a slow cooker.

- Turn on the Frying mode (10 min). Pour oil into the slow cooker and put finely chopped onion. Fry until light caramel color and add paprika, turmeric, thyme and oregano.
