  1. In a separate deep bowl, mix soy sauce, vegetable butter and melted honey. You can melt it in a water bath or just in the microwave.

  2. To soy sauce, you also need to add peeled and chopped garlic, minced cilantro and thyme. Thyme is desirable to use fresh, then it will not burn like that on meat in case of heat processing.

  3. In the resulting mixture, marinate the meat from 3 to 12 hours. Pickling time depends on the type and age of the meat. If it is young lamb or chicken, then it’s enough to set aside 3 hours for pickling time, you can even a little less. But when the barbecue will be prepared from beef or lamb, the meat should be in marinade for at least 12 hours.
