Holiday Chicken Recipe

Holiday chicken with almonds and sour cream 
Curry Indians do not call seasoning, but a thick sauce. Never mind, it is a bird or lamb, rice or vegetables. Europeans endow curry special philosophy. Each region of India has its own rules, its own Ingredients. We offer a simple method, only from afar resembling chicken curry. For our taste, a combination of almonds, ginger, coriander – not traditional, and therefore original.
To cook chicken festive with almonds you will need:
- Chicken – about 1.5kg.
- Onions, garlic, chili, ginger (a slice of root), ready seasoning curry, coriander grains, greens.
- Natural cream – about 100ml.
- Sour cream (not thick) or unsweetened yogurt – 400ml.
- Almonds (buy almond petals) – about 50g. for sauce and sprinkles on top.
If there are no almond petals, you can use cashews. (grind thin plates).
As you can see, the set of ingredients is not so complicated, and the method itself cooking “festive chicken” is not complicated.
Cook chicken festive with almonds and sour cream can be as follows:
Slice the bird into slices preferably without skin (you can even buy ready-made chicken stew). Grind onions separately (in small sticks) and garlic (in slices).
Fry the butter in butter (!) So that the pieces are not stewed and fried. This is best done in a wide pan. Well, or fry the chicken in several stages.
Sauté the onion, then add ginger slices to the mass and garlic. A couple of minutes later, add coriander seeds there, the third part of the almond petals. Pour the curry in a minute (about 1 tablespoon), but focus on your taste. Pour in sour cream, cream, some water. Stew, stirring the resulting sauce. Little cool, and boldly turn everything in a blender. It will turn out delicious in color and taste curry sauce.
Mix pieces of chicken with sauce and set everything to languish on oh very low fire. The meat should be soaked in delicious curry, become juicy. After turning off the fire do not rush to serve the dish to to the table. Allow at least a little infusion and sprinkle before solemn serving with the remaining almond petals and herbs.
