Hasselbak potato (accordion potato) with garlic and sour cream

Even with only potatoes and sour cream in stock, you can cook amazingly delicious and beautiful side dish, worthy of a festive table. This is the Hasselbach potato that came to us from Sweden. But in a simple way – accordion potato when whole tubers are cut thin from above accordion-style plates, and baked with spices and other additives in the oven. The easiest recipe is to make an accordion, and roll it in vegetable oil, sprinkled with salt and pepper, and between Insert a few slices of garlic into the plates. Potato accordion

  • 450 gr red young potatoes
  • 3-5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Melted butter
  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil

Sour cream with herbs

  • 0.5 tbsp. sour cream
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. l finely chopped parsley leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Put each tuber in a wooden spoon and make on top multiple parallel cuts using a spoon as benchmark so as not to cut the potatoes to the end. Put on 3 slices into cuts of each tuber. Roll in a bowl with creamy and olive oil. Put on a baking sheet and sprinkle with plenty of salt and pepper. Bake until crisp and cooked potatoes in for about 1 hour. Transfer to a dish and pour sour cream with greens.
  3. Sour cream with herbs:

    Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Salt to taste and refrigerate until ready to use.
