Photo Hamburgers Photo of the dish: Канг Ким Time:55 minutes Difficulty: easy Portions: 4 The recipes use dimensional capacity: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cups (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teahouse spoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil, plus additionally for buns
  • 2 large onions, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 Art. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. l ketchup
  • 3/4 Art. chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 tsp table 5% vinegar
  • 900 gr. lean beef or veal mincemeat
  • 4 hamburger buns, cut in half
  • 1/4 Art. sliced pickled cucumbers
  • 1 tbsp. l sweet vegetable religion (heat-treated pickled shredded vegetables or fruits) a recipe for a religion of corn
  • 4 to 8 thin slices of tomato
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 Art. mild yellow mustard
  • 8 slices of American cheese or any other semi-hard cow’s milk cheese

Recipe preparation:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan to a moderately low temperature. Add onion and 3/4 tsp. salt, cover and cook, occasionally mixing, until soft and golden, approximately 30 minutes (If the onion fries too quickly, reduce the temperature.) Remove the cover, increase the heating to medium temperature and continue cooking, stirring frequently, yet about 8 minutes, until the onions are caramelized. Add to pan 1/2 tbsp. water and bring to a boil. Continue cooking until until the water evaporates a little, about 2 more minutes., put in a bowl. Caramelized onions can be stored in refrigerator for 3 days before reuse heat up.
  2. Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish and vinegar in a separate bowl. Form from minced meat 8 round cutlets with a diameter of approximately 10 see and about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat the pan to medium temperature; lightly grease vegetable oil. Place the buns cut into the pan side down and fry until golden brown. To smear each the lower half of the bun 1 tbsp. l mayonnaise mixture, then lay out on top a few slices of cucumbers, a small amount of salad and 1 – 2 slices of tomato.   4. Cutlets salt and pepper on each side. Lay out cutlets in a hot pan and fry for 3 minutes. Then spread cutlets of 1.5 tsp. mustard flip to the other side and put on top 1 slice of cheese. Continue cooking yet about 2 minutes (cutlets get medium roasting).
  5. Put caramelized onions on 4 cutlets, then cover remaining cutlets, cheese side up. Put double cutlets on buns with vegetables, then cover with the upper halves buns.
