Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 6 ears of corn, peel leaves and fibers, cut base
  • 5 tbsp. l (75 gr.) Butter
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, thinly cut into slices
  • 1 large clove of garlic, chop
  • Salt
  • 250 gr diced ham
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and chopped into large cubes
  • 6 green onion feathers, cut into small rings
  • 2/3 Art. fat cream

Recipe preparation:

  1. Separate the corn from the ears and leave half glasses for roasting with meat. Melt 4 tablespoons in a saucepan butter, add thyme, onions, celery, garlic, corn grains, salt 1 tsp. salt and fry over high heat, for 4 minutes. Add potatoes, corncobs and pour 5 glasses of boiled water. Cover and cook, 20 – 25 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, melt the remaining spoonful of cream in a pan oil, add half a glass of corn kernels and ham, fry at medium high temperature, about 6 minutes. Add green onions and continue to fry for another 1 minute.
  3. Remove the corn cobs from the soup. Add cream to the soup and warm up for about 1 minute. Pour the soup into plates and add toasted ham with corn.
