  • Hot Peppermint Sauce, see recipe below
  • Chili oil to drip, (optional)
  • Fresh leaves of cilantro

Peppermint sauce

  • 1 tbsp. mint leaves + optional for serving
  • 2 chopped serrano peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2.5 cm. Ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp Sahara
  • 1/4 Art. white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. l fish sauce

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the grill to moderate heat. In a large bowl mix shrimp with oil, salt and pepper. Fry the shrimp on grill for 1-2 minutes on each side or until cooked. Be careful not to overcook them, otherwise they will be stiff and rubber. Put on a plate.
  2. Put about 3 shrimps on each lettuce leaf. Pour peppermint sauce and drizzle with a small amount if desired chili oil. Sprinkle with cilantro leaves. Fold lettuce leaves and immediately eat it.

    Hot Peppermint Sauce:

    Put all ingredients except salt in a blender. Grind to homogeneous consistency, salt to taste.
